Southeast Botanical Gardens
2146 Aza Chibana, Okinawa City
Due to Okinawa's subtropical climate, this is the only botanical garden in Japan where tropical and subtropical plants flourish under cultivation outside of their natural habitat. There are two main gardens: botanical and aquatic. The park invites you to bring along a picnic lunch to enjoy amongst the fragrant blossoms. Some tropical flowers in both gardens are in full bloom all year long. |
