Ryukyu no Yakata

At Ryukyu no Yakata, a visitor can see the process of making Okinawan fabrics, such as minsa-ori, bashou-fu and hanaori plus bingata dyeing. Visitors can also try their hand at textile production for a fee. Making a coaster costs ¥600, and ¥1,600 lets you create your own centerpiece. The price for a bingata-dyeing experience is ¥800. |

Directions:
| Driving on Highway 331 towards Itoman, turn right at the Ahagon intersection. A good landmark is the ESSO station on the right side ahead. Go straight, passing five traffic lights, and the Ryukyu no Yakata building will be on your left.
