Nakijin Museum of Culture and History

If you visit Nakijin, you’ll get the opportunity to discover how Okinawans lived in both recent and ancient times. The archaeological finds of this museum are numerous. Some examples are Chinese pottery, scrolls, money, books, maps, boats, textiles and clothing of the past. More contemporary items include plowing machinery and gardening, cooking and household utensils. |

Directions:
| From Naha Airport take Highway 58 north towards Nago. Keep left and continue through Kadena Circle to Nago. Take a left towards Expo Park as you pass through Nago. When you see the sign for Nakijin Castle, turn right onto a small road. The museum is located next to Nakijin Castle.
